Update Your Infinix Hot 4 X557 To Android Nougat With This Beta ROM

Infinix early this year released a list of their smartphones that will be getting Android 7.0 Nougat update via OTA and Infinix Hot 4 was included among other Infinix phones. Although some Infinix phones have started getting the update as promised, example are the Infinix S Pro and Infinix Zero 4.

However, since Infinix Hot 4 users are still waiting for the official release of their own Android Nougate update, there is a beta version of the Android Nougate update and I want to show you how you can update your Infinix Hot 4 to Android 7 Nougate.

The Beta version of Android Nougat  has come to make Hot 4 users have a feel or what to expect from the official version of the Android Nougat from Infinixmobility. It is very easy to update to Nougat using the method I will be showing you below.

HOW TO UPGRADE INFINIX HOT 4 X557 TO ANDROID 7 NOUGAT BETA VERSION

1. First of all you have to download the Beta ROM for Infinix Hot 4, Click Here to Download
2. Move the downloaded Beta ROM to your SDcard (place it in the root folder i.e. immediately you open your SDcard)
3. Go back and open System Update app
4. Choose "Update from local" and then select the Beta ROM you downloaded to install it.
5. Wait for it to install, your device will reboot and then start upgrading your Infinix Hot 4 to Android 7 Nougat.

After upgrading, if you encounter any boot loop simply go and clear System Cache.
Please Note that this is not the official version of Android 7 Nougat...You can wait till June for the official release of Infinix Hot 4 x557 Nougat update.
