Etisalat Nigeria Is Now Officially Known As 9Mobile Nigeria -Checkout Their New Website

If you have been following Sooloaded Blog you must noticed we published a post about the huge debt Etisalat owes different banks and the clash between Etisalat International and Etisalat Nigeria.

Etisalat Nigeria is being managed by a different company but is using the Etisalat brand name to do business in Nigeria, this was after they entered into an agreement with Etisalat International.

Just recently, it was in the news that the different banks Etisalat Nigeria owed debts took over the Telecom company for some time before the company got back possession of Etisalat Nigeria. The issues were however, amicably settled.

Following all these catastrophies that has been befalling Etisalat Nigeria, the Abu Dhabi based Etisalat International had to terminate the agreement it entered into with EMTCO thereby giving the company three (3) weeks to change it's name from Etisalat Nigeria to something else.

We also told you that it was reported that after due consultations and several meetings of the board members of Etisalat Nigeria, they unanimously adopted to change the brand name "Etisalat Nigeria" to "9Mobile Nigeria". Since the adoption of the new name, The company has been working to restructure everything about them in order to bear their new name "9Mobile".

Finally,  Etisalat Nigeria on Tuesday 18th July,  2017 have officially come out to change it's name to "9Mobile". This was disclosed on their various social media handles and have received commendations from over 20million active users.

Etisalat Nigeria (Now 9Mobile) have also launched their new website and have changed almost everything that carried the old Etisalat logo to its new 9Mobile logo.

What this mean for us at Sooloaded is that,  from henceforth, all posts that will be related to Etisalat Nigeria (now 9Mobile) will be tagged in 9mobile label or category. Not to worry,  all old posts that equally relates to Etisalat will still be intact. That means we are not changing the etisalat category for old posts.

We hope you stay updated with the latest information and please stop calling the network Etisalat *winks* it is now 9Mobile.
